May 18 - The views are breathtaking.  We took “fishing time” at Woodring Area – Carter’s Lake – (It’s so close) on several days.  From there, we can see Lakeview Lodge – the tallest 3-story – towering high above all the others on the nearby mountain.  Cleanliness and condition of the facilities are the best we have seen.  The piano is a nice extra touch – we enjoyed it a lot.  Since our group was small, we enjoyed meals on the deck with binoculars enjoying the activity on the lake.

July 15 - What a special day in a special place.  We had a large family celebration for our mom, grandmother and great-grandmother who was born 85 years ago today.  She is still beautiful and fun and spreads joy all around.  Lakeview Lodge and Carter’s Cove have been an ideal place for our group, aged two to eighty-five.  The lake, the view and the houses are all spectacular.  We love it and have been having a great time.

July 15 - We have been here to celebrate my Aunt Hazel’s birthday with my fabulous Southern family.  My generous cousins provided this wonderful week.  It is so great for me to re-connect with my southern roots.  I wish I were more like them – so relaxed and “devil-may-care.”  This beautiful lodge and view helped my busy husband and me relax, unwind, and hopefully renew our spirit, lives and souls.  Family and memories are everything.

July 16 - I feel so close to God as I sit on the porch enjoying the beautiful view.  This week has been one of the most enjoyable in my life.  All three of my children, six grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren have helped me celebrate my eighty-fifth birthday.  Also some other family members have been here too.  The cabin is so nice and comfortable.  Hope to be here again some day.  God is so good to me and gives me the desires of my heart.

September 7 - The cabin is beautiful.  The porch, rockers were extra bonus.  The view was awesome and breath-taking.  Words can not give it justice.  This is definitely “God Country.”  He knew what he was doing when he made the mountains, lakes, and cabins for all his children and families to enjoy, relax, and spend time together.  Have enjoyed these 3 ½ days!   with our ladies ministries from the Ocilla Church of God in Ocilla, GA.  May God bless you for sharing this cabin so others may enjoy it too.  A total of 37 of us split up in two cabins.  Thanks so much.

November 27 - Lakeview Lodge has been a real respite for all of us and really blessed us this Thanksgiving!  Thank you, thank you!  We loved the view, the quality of the facilities (furniture, bedding, towels, decorations) and of course, the fireplace.  It was so nice to come in to a home already decorated for Christmas.  Thanks for everything.

December 8 - We enjoyed having our family Christmas here!  Everyone loved the cabin, the gorgeous view, the big fireplace and all the beds!  Our family is spread from Huntsville, AL; Warner Robins, GA, Auburn, GA, Lawrenceville, GA, and Chattanooga, TN.  This was a great meeting place.  We enjoyed Amicacola Falls, but most of all we enjoyed being together and having space to enjoy it all!  We loved watching the hawks soar through the air.  At times, there were four together.  We plan to come here again!

August 11 - We, the junior mothers at Mt. Patmus Baptist Church, Decatur, GA enjoyed this cabin so much.  We prayed, had fun and most of all, fellowshipped to come together as one united Board.  We will tell all of our family and friends how we had so much fun.

This was awesome.  The kids were thrilled.  We went out canoeing two days, chilled in the pit with badminton and explored the mountains.  The cabin was absolutely wonderful.  I didn’t expect it to be this nice and as the young people used to say, it was off the chain!  Thank you for a wonderful family experience and we look forward to our next visit.  God bless and may others find the same experience, laughter and fun as we have.

July 31 - After the long trip in the vans, we rushed in with excited faces to explore an amazing cabin in the mountains – this cabin.  From the moment of arrival, to the evening before departure, we have been delighted by the fantastic mountain views, trips to the lake, badminton out back, and family time at the kitchen table.  We thank you kindly for this wonderful experience.

July 4 - Our stay at Carter’s Cove was probably one of the best vacations I’ve ever been on.  The first day here, the hot tub wasn’t working, but Roy came quickly and fixed it (NICE SERVICE!)  We enjoyed everything about this lodge and would like to thank you for building it in the first place.

This is the best cabin I’ve ever stayed at.  I enjoyed swimming in the lake, and sitting out around your fire pit.  I liked playing horseshoes.  I like this cabin.  It’s the best.

June 17 - What a beautiful cabin!  Thank-you for providing everything we would ever need.  We were able to watch the baby birds growing in the nest on the porch, we caught fish in the lake, the kids had so much fun in the canoes and we drove and drove to so many cool places around here.  We had a vacation that we will never forget!!

The cabin is beautiful, nicely appointed and great location.  Fun walk down by the lake, a little bit of a ridge walk.  Today was so relaxing.  Sunny and warm.  Great group of people to spend a relaxing weekend away from the Atlanta traffic.  That tub was a great ending to the day.
